Hi all,

I am using alsa driver 1.0.14 running in a gentoo linux, on a Sony Vaio
VGN-FZ180E. My lspci is:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation HD Audio Controller (rev 03)

Currently I load the module with the command:

    modprobe snd_hda_intel model=vaio

When master is enabled, the sound comes from main speaker and from
earphone together. I cannot make the sound works only on the earphone.

Alsamixer show 4 sliders: master, line (always disabled), mic and
capture. Also, alsamixer shows the model as being Card: HDA Intel
Chip: SigmaTel STAC9872AK

How can I enable the output on the earphone only, and automaticaly mute
the main speaker when it's plugged?

Thanks
