Surround Sound (AC3 on PS3 via SPDI/F

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm trying to get surround sound working on PS3's (w/ alsa under linux).

I'm able to get Stereo through the SPDIF, and my understanding is that I should be able to pass-through AC3 encoded audio to get surround sound.

Has any one got this to work, or can some-one assert that it can't be done?

(any .asoundrc files would be appriciated).

thanks
