Re: Horrible Sound

This is really weird... I did a clean install of Feisty Fawn and the sound was A ok but now (about a week later) all of a sudden,  it got to the same state it was before the new install:  full of noise and distorted bass.  It just happened. Now, I know that if you don't  touch a computer it doesn't go rogue and messes itself, but I didn't install anything, at least that I now of, that would mess with ALSA. I installed a couple of Linux games and watched a movie in VLC (H264 and AC3 sound) [today]. This is really getting on my nerves....  Help me figure this out please ;]
Videos sound just fine! only music files sound horrible (mp3, flac, ogg)

How can I reset my ALSA settings to the "factory" defaults?
