Hello, No matter what i do, on my laptop i keep getting sound from both, internal speakers and the headphones, even if the headphone jack is plugged in (works properly under windows). I have described my problem in detail here: https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=2974 Since then new kernel with newer alsa came out, but the problem persists: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.14rc3 (Wed Mar 14 07:25:50 2007 UTC) I found similar issues with older chipsets that have been resolved (880 for example).
