M-Audio Fast Track Pro: mixer/patches?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hy everyone,

I bought a M-Audio Fast Track Pro last week, and I quickly figured out
that there is no alsa-mixer available for this device.
After reading those mails on alsa-dev list
( http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.alsa.devel/39639/focus=39899 and
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.alsa.devel/42396 ) I thought that
there are chances that there will be a mixer for the fast track pro in
the future (I hope there will be...)

I also read about the patches for snd_usb_audio and that they would add
the possibility to control the device similar to windows/mcos-drivers
(choosing sample rate and bit depth of the fast track would be nice
indeed...)

Has anyone patched the driver? And how are the results?

And will the next version of alsa include support for the fast track
pro? (Or is this a question for the alsa-dev-list?)

Thanks and best regards,

benjamin
