Hi Vladimir,

I don't have a revolution 5.1 though I am thinking of getting one
because of the sound quality for simple playback and recording. I am not
knowledgeable about the ALSA internals, so I can't answer your
question.  Have you checked the archives reached from the ALSA site via
mailing lists?

When I was reading them yesterday, the developers said that they have
difficulty with that card because M-Audio is not providing specs.  From
what I read, I am surprised that you have it working at all.  I have a
query to the list right now asking if it works for analog stereo play
and microphone recording.  Are you able to do that?
