Revolution 5.1 : Is analog stereo and mic recording supported?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I've read the archives and am unable to determine if the revolution 5.1
card supports analog stereo out and microphone recording. It seems
that m-audio is not providing specs to the ALSA developers, so they
cannot support it correctly.

The review here,
http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/multimedia/m-audio-revolution51.html
indicates that it stacks up well for audio quality against the
E-MU 1212 and the X-Fi.

Has anyone experience using this card with ALSA. I am on FC6 (Fedora
Core 6) with ALSA at 1.0.14.rc1 as the official package.

Will it work?

Thanks for any feedback.
