Terratec phase 88 - or "What to do"

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I posted a question to this list about 2 years ago about the Terratec
phase 88. It doesnt show in the soundcard matrix, although some PCI id's
are in the ice1712 source, and, strangely, "studio to go" lists it as
supported. My card isn't recognized, however. I dont know what to test or
what to post in order to start solving this. I have some coding
experience, but by no means enough to create a driver. I am willing to
test, and to lend my card to any developers vouched for on this mailing
list living in Oslo :P

I have no idea as to wether I'm even doing anything right in any
configuration, because the documentation page
(http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=Terratec&chip=Envy24+%28ICE1712%29&module=ice1712)
has no relation to reality at all, as far as I can see.

Any replies are welcome.
regards,
Sigmund
