That can be 6 or 2 channels, depending on the mode the Phase 26 is in. I guess, KDE_Startup_new.wav doesn't have the right number of channels. If you want to play that file, either use a player, that converts it to the correct current channel count (and sample format and sample rate) or use the "plughw:1" device or another device that does automatic conversion.
