Hi all,
I have a Biostar 6100-939 motherboard, with nVidia MCP51 onboard sound.
I have creative 5.1 speakers with 5 speakers and a sub,
I only have sound working on 2 of the front speakers and have been trying to get 5.1 out.
I have the wires plugged in correctly, have owned these speakers for a few years.
I am using fedora 6 with alsa.
here is the info:

Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.13 (Tue Nov 28 14:07:24 2006 UTC)

0 [ICH ]: NFORCE - Intel ICH
Intel ICH with ALC655 at 0xfe02c000, irq 23

I have tryed alsamixer -V all

I run speaker-test -c 6 -D surround51
and only hear front right, front left, and lfe

I have this installed for alsa:
alsa-oss-devel-1.0.12-3.fc6
alsa-utils-1.0.13-1.fc6
alsa-tools-1.0.12-4.fc6
alsa-driver-1.0.14-57_rc2.fc6.at
alsa-lib-1.0.13-1.fc6
alsa-kmdl-2.6.19-1.2895.fc6-1.0.14-57_rc2.fc6.at
alsa-oss-1.0.12-3.fc6
alsamixergui-0.9.0-0.3.rc1.fc6

any help getting this sound working on all speakers?
thanks
