Hello, i can't get any AC3 passthru out of my onboard ck804 card (Gigabyte K8N Ultra9 mainboard). From my sblive 5.1 it works great. I've found and tried several hints (mixer settings, asound.state files) for this card, without luck. Only PCM streams would be played fine thru spdif. I'm using mplayer -ao alsa:device=spdif=1 dvd:// for testing purpose with one of my dvds. My AV-receiver recognise something (PCM indicator goes off during playback), but no AC3.
