Incidentally, this week I encountered the same problem with quitea different plugin I wrote. If I use the plugin directly with/through an application that allows usageof LADSPA plugins, then it works fine. The applications are, for example,'audacity', 'ecasound'. If I use the plugin through .asoundrc, then, for example, 'kaffeine'crashes, 'xmms' doesn't see it, and 'audacious' does see it and does notcrash, and works normally. So, could you please first try it directly, not through pseudodevicecreated in ~/.asoundrc/asound.conf ?
