mbeq_119700 issues

Hi!
I found the multichannel multiband equalizer in the mailing listarchives and am now trying to utilize it.I managed to build it and have inserted it into my asound.conf, butunfortunately when trying to play a sound with aplay I get the followingerror (the output is a bit tweaked as I added fprintf() to everyfunction to see where it crashes):

The controls used are exactly the same as I got using the analyseplugincommand.
After trying with the stereo wave file I thought I'd try with a 5.1movie played using MPlayer:

The ALSA version used is 1.0.14rc1 on a 2.6.18 kernel.
Can you please help me? I do not really understand what is going on inthat plugin, as I am not such a mathematical and programmer person...Does anybody else successfully use this plugin?
