Support for ADStech Instant Music USB ?

Hi list !

I just got an ADStech Instant Music USB interface and tried to use
it with alsa 1.0.13 (running SuSE 10.1)

It basically works via usb-audio generic. However alsamixer only
displays a single control: PCM (which seems for playback).

There are no capture or whatever other controllers. The unit sports
S/PDIF in and out jacks as well as regular cinch/line in and out jacks.

The kernel messages file had the following entries upon plugin:
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: usb 4-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: usb 4-1: new device found, idVendor=08bb, idProduct=2902
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: usb 4-1: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: usb 4-1: Product: USB Audio CODEC
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: usb 4-1: Manufacturer: Burr-Brown from TI
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: usb 4-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: input: Burr-Brown from TI USB Audio CODEC as /class/input/input4
Oct 25 14:42:36 kernel: input: USB HID v1.00 Device [Burr-Brown from TI USB Audio CODEC ] on usb-0000:00:1d.2-1

Does anybody else have experience with this particular unit and if
so how do I get more controls (assuming the unit does support them) ?

What could I do to help to further investigate this issue ?

Thank you, best wishes,
Michael
