Hi Shouben,
Sorry for thinking it was the logging you were referring to. This is
definitely hardcoded, and this format is used to determine policy and
can not be easily changed.
I can however see the use for a new search postop plugin to convert
generalized time values into local time. Meaning you would have to use
ldapsearch to see the converted values. Actually I could see a new
plugin to simply do any kind of transformation of attributes &
values(from time conversion, value masking/hiding, virtual values, etc).

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your help. My LDAP server host is configured as EST time
zone. But LDAP server uses GMT time zone for all time related values,
such as
passwordExpirationTime: 20120528201328Z
accountunLockTime: 20120229172237Z
passwordRetryCount: 3
retryCountResetTime: 20120302175809Z
modifyTimestamp: 20120228201328Z
What I would like if all above time be my local time, which will a
little bit easy for understanding

Hi Shouben,
The server uses the system function time() to get the time and
converts it with localtime_r(). This all comes from the host
machine. You would need make timezone changes via the OS/environment.
Do you mean changing the logging format?
[02/Mar/2012:09:05:28 -0500]
to
[02/Mar/2012:09:05:28 -EST]

The LDAP server by default uses the GMT. is it possible to configure
it to local time zone such as EST zone?
Thanks
