How did you configure your samba tools? Did you manually modify or create the smbldap.conf, and smbldap_bind, or did you use the '/usr/share/doc/smbldap-tools-*/configure.pl? As long as your smb.conf is correctly configured, using the configure.pl script will setup samba tools for you with all the correct settings. You can then just type smbpopulate and it should auto pop the directory for you (there are a few minor mods to get the samba part correct) Sanga M.
