No. If you just want to install the console and run it remotely (i.e. from your personal desktop, not from the server machine itself), just do yum install fedora-idm-console That's all you have to do to install the console on your local machine. One other thing - you may have some files left over from previous runs that are causing problems - try rm -rf ~/.fedora-idm-console Then run fedora-idm-console again.
