hi cary you can login to secondary master using admin console be changing in 3 different places 1. /opt/fedora-ds/admin-serv/config/adm.conf 2. /opt/fedora-ds/shared/config/dbswitch.conf edit an entry under the configuration directory server under the suffice 0=netscaperoot The entry can be found by first doing the following ldapsearch: #ldapsearch -x -b o=netscaperoot -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w password "nsDirectoryURL=*" It would return similar to below dn: cn=UserDirectory, ou=Global Preferences, ou=localdomain, o=NetscapeRoot Copy the above dn: and create an ldif file with below contents dn: cn=UserDirectory, ou=Global Preferences, ou=localdomain, o=NetscapeRoot //Comment, Replace this line with your result of ldapsearch query changetype: modify replace: nsDirectoryURL nsDirectoryURL: ldap://<secondary-master-ip/hostname/fqdn/>:port/suffix You can refer the below link http://directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Howto:AdminServerLDAPMgmt#How_to_change_the_user.2Fgroup_LDAP_server Regards Niranjan Restart the admin console #/opt/fedora-ds/stop-admin #/opt/fedora-ds/start-admin Then you can login to secondary master using adminconsole.
