i have FDS with a lot of fedora clients, to configure the clients i use
this command:

authconfig --useshadow --usemd5 --enableldap --enableldapauth \
--ldapserver=myserver1,myserver2 --ldapbasedn=dc=domain,dc=com \
--enablecache --kickstart

and works fine.
