I have not tried FDS on RHFC4 yet, anyone could confirm it works as usual? Some points: 1) Use mymachine.mydomain as hostname during installation. 2) If the /etc/hosts appears something like this: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost mymachine I suggest you change it to something like that: 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX mymachine mymachine.mydomain Where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP of your ldap server. 3) make sure admin server is started. 4) Check the /opt/fedora-ds/admin-serv/logs/error for error info Gary -----Original Message----- From: fedora-directory-users-bounces at redhat.com [mailto:fedora-directory-users-bounces at redhat.com] On Behalf Of Andreas Krause Sent: Monday, July 11, 2005 4:16 PM To: General discussion list for the Fedora Directory server project.
