FDS-7.1-2 and PAM

Hello, I have a quick question about FDS & PAM:

It seems to me the lines added to /etc/pam.d/system-auth on the pam wiki
http://directory.fedora.redhat.com/wiki/Howto:PAM don't behave as they
should.

i.e. if fds is not started system users but the root can't logon; if fds
is started all is fine.


Any clues on this?
