Hello all, after a XFS recovery, caused by a system crash, one of my files seems to be trashed. The file contains an encrypted container and can not be mounted since that crash. Hexedit shows some parts are filled with 0 Bytes. The crash happened some time ago in 2005, the filesystem was dumped and nearly untouched since then. I can not tell which kernel or XFS version was used. Xfs_bmap shows many holes, so it looks like a problem mentioned here: http://xfs.org/index.php/XFS_FAQ#Q:_Why_do_I_see_binary_NULLS_in_some_files_after_recovery_when_I_unplugged_the_power.3F Is there any chance to revert to the state the file was before the crash? Or maybe anything else that could help to restore the file?
