I started X server on another display 1 using :

startx -- :1 &

and then ran the same command but now it's giving me following error :

Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 1
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X1-lock
        and start again.

What else do I need to do in order to get the proper display using Xnest?

Regards,
Girish
