The source tarball can be found at:

  ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/develsnaps/XFree86-4.5.99.902.tar.bz2

This version marks the beginning of the intensive testing phase for this
release. Please report problems/success, etc here.

Well, I finally got 4.5.99.902 compiled, but when I tried to install it,
this problem came back:

http://www.mail-archive.com/xfree86@xxxxxxxxxxx/msg20033.html

that problem went away when I installed 4.5.99.901 and was first
encountered with 4.5.99.21.

Any ideas?

Yup. The change that fixed that was backed out. I committed a better fix yesterday, which, with any luck, will stick.

Marc.
