3D acceleration via XDM

Hi,

using XFree86 on NetBSD, I don't get 3D accel (because NetBSD don't have
support for DRI, nor commercial ATI/nVIDIA drivers).

If I setup an xdm server (on the NetBSD machine) and connect to it from
a Linux machine (where the commercial drivers is installed), do I get 3D
accel with the remote session.

Another way to put that is, when using XDMCP, do I heritate from local X
driver capabilities or do I keep the server's one (I'm thinking of running
NetBSD on a sparc64 system but remote connect to it using a 20$ diskless i386
with 3D graphical drivers ;).

TIA,
	Jo
