The compile worked fine but the installation failed with an "invalid group utmp" error when xterm was begin installed. At this point, I think I'm running a half 4.5.99.21/4.5.0 XFree86 installation on Linux. :) Attached is my XFree86.0.log after the failed installation attempt. Peace... Tom
