I have Xfree 4.5 installed on a 2.6.13 Kernel with no mouse installed on a USB memory stick with no disk. I run my own OpenGL game and the first time a Key is hit the USB Disk starts flashing and the game "hangs" for up to 1 minute and then executes the key and continues, the next key the disk is also accessed but the delay and 2 seconds and so on for a few keys and then everthing seems to work normally. No disk access, no delay.
