netBSD 2.0.2 and I’m having difficulty starting X I have XFree86 version 4.4.0 My video adapter is a 64MB Intel 82845G When I tried startx I get the error X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit
kill or server shutdown) When I enter xhost + I get the error: xhost: unable to open display
“” my DISPLAY environment variable was empty so I manually set
it to my machine name. I now entered
xhost + And get the error;
xhost: unable to open display “myBSD.murphy.net:0.0” Not sure where to look next – is it my Virtual PC
