I recently built a Linux file server out of a Compaq Proliant 1600. This worked fine for several days, and then rebooted and found that X win would hang. I read some notes on the XFree86.org site regarding the Cirrus vid cards and saw some info about adding "option "noaccel"" to the /etc/X11/XF86Config file (attached below). I tried this, as well as lowering the 'depth' settings, but am still not getting X win to start properly. Can someone give me some insights on how to fix this? I am a beginner to Linux. Thanks.
