System details: FreeBSD 4.10 on x86 arch Xfree86 4.3 ATI Radeon 9600 SE AGP card Planar px212M LCD monitor (1600x1200 is supported fine on Windows)
Does the vesa driver support 1600x1200 in the Xfree86 4.3 version? The probe lines in the xfree86.log indicate 1600x1200 is a future mode. Perhaps this requires upgrading to 4.4?
Or perhaps I should be using the radeon driver instead of the automatically configured vesa driver?
Any help or recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you, Ted
