i have tried 50 times or so to get freebsd 5.3 to work on my laptop. i can't get the stupid default x server X.org to work w/ my video card. it doesn't have the kn133 chipset driver. just the km133. i checked out the xfree86 4.4 release & they have it. i did a "cd /usr/ports/x11/XFree86-4" then a "make install clean" but none of the xfree86 commands work. everytime i try n type a xfree86 command it says "command not found" why won't the commands work? some guy on the freebsd laptop compatability list got freebsd to work w/ xfree86 on a presario 700 w/ the same video card. i copied his xf86config from the website & it still didn't work. please help??? thank you Joe __________________________________________________________________ Switch to Netscape Internet Service.
