Problem with timouts on Radeon 9200SE

 Hello,

 I'm running XFree86 4.4.0 on NetBSD 2.0 stable and am experiencing some problems that are stumping me. The card I'm trying to use is a PCI video card in the docking port that the X-23 laptop is attached too.

 When I run with the built-in video card and monitor X works fine, however when I run xf86cfg or startx I get 

(EE) RADEON(0): Idle timed out, resetting engine...
 
 errors over and over again, and the XFree86 process uses 100% of the CPU.

 I'm fairly certain that the card is _detected_ as it's the primary card that is initilized by the BIOS and it's what I use for console. Also when I load xf86cfg I see the screen indicate a sync, however it just remains black.

 I've tried playing with the PCI settings to no avail -- it's not running any modules to speak of so I'm really unsure of where to look at this point.

 Any help would be greately .. helpful and appreciated.
