ATI Radeon DVI Color Problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I have the problem that certain colors are not displayed on the
monitor that is connected to the DVI port. Usually it's brighter color
tones in the whole color range. One example is RGB f3ede7. They're not or
nearly not visible which makes some applications hard to look at ... This
is independent of the window manager I use. When I boot (yuck) Windows, all
the colors are visible. The monitor itself is also not the problem. I
checked with others and the effect is still there. Changing monitor
settings also doesn't help. The VGA port works fine.

All I can think of now is that there is some problem with the
drivers.

I tried the option "Dac6Bit" "on" but this also didn't help.

Any ideas?

  Thomas
