   Perhaps setting the input device to /dev/mouse in the XF86Config
will work better?  Currently, the server claims:

(EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/psaux
        Device or resource busy.

which sounds like an OS issue.  Do you have mouse support in the
console (ie. gpm)?
