Thanks, but the fglrx package does not work with my device, ATI Radeon IGP320 Mobility U1.

I've been working to get my second monitor working. So far, I have had
no luck. I've searched this group and the Internet. Here is my
situation:

ATI Radeon IGP320M (U1) 4336
1280x800 LCD Notebook Panel
Sharp LL-M17W1u Monitor 1280x768
SUSE Professional 9.1
XFree86 version: 4.3.99.902

I have set up my XF86Config as indicated in the Internet posts to have
two Device, two Monitor, two Screen, and the appropriate ServerLayout
sections. The two Device sections are repeats of each other with one
having Screen 0 and one having Screen 1.

The XFree86.0.log section shows both Devices apparently initializing
correctly and attaching to the correct screens.

The server starts up on the notebook panel. It displays in such a way
to show that it believes there are two screens, i.e. only the lower part
of the background shows indicating there is a screen above this one,
exactly as I specified in the XF86Config. If I move the mouse pointer
up there it disappears. Windows apparently try to display up there i.e.
some start but don't display in the notebook panel. The only problem is
that the second monitor does not light up.

When I run xdpyinfo, it shows one screen of 1280x1568 pixels.

Unfortunately, all the Internet posts I have found indicate that no one
has succeeded in lighting up their second monitor, at least, when using
"radeon". Many have apparently tried.

I must admit that I know the card works in general as I am able to
extend a Windows XP desktop onto it.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I did not include my XF86Config or
XFree86.0.log to conserve post length but will be happy to if needed.

Thanks.
