Assuming that is the case - would you happen to know what version redhat as 2.1 is in relation to 4.3.0? In addition, suppose I buy an older video card that is compatible with this chipset, will this work as a workaround?

If I recall correctly, that chip wasn't supported until 4.3.0 or
so. The server you are using predates that chip by quite a bit.
