The message strikes me as fairly clear. This isn't supported. If you want to know why, search the devel@ archives.

Obvious or not, I'm having the same problem on a sharp laptop ( same chipset). If you find out anything, please pass it on to the list.

Works under windows, doesn't under linux ( redhat 9.0).
