Hello,

use Debian Sarge with XFree86 4.3, Ati FireGL 8800 and Philips 109P4.
I would want to use the resolution 1280x1024@100hz.
I have generated one modeline with:
http://koala.ilog.fr/cgi-bin/nph-colas-modelines
not knowing the value "dot clock" (line=Max Bandwidth:)
I have left that one of default (200)
the modeline is:
ModeLine "1280x1024" 191.21 1280 1336 1616 1728 1024 1026 1038 1064 #104Hz
but display is distorted.

in order to know the value of dot clock I have used:

# X -probeonly

and in file /var/log/XFree.86.0.log I read:

(II) RADEON(0): Primary Display == Type 1
(==) RADEON(0): Using gamma correction (1.0, 1.0, 1.0)
(II) RADEON(0): Validating modes on Primary head ---------
(II) RADEON(0): PHILIPS 109P4PHL: Using hsync range of 30.00-111.00 kHz
(II) RADEON(0): PHILIPS 109P4PHL: Using vrefresh range of 50.00-160.00
Hz
(II) RADEON(0): Clock range: 20.00 to 400.00 MHz

the line "clock range" it is my value of dot clock?

Excused for my English. Thanks.
