Years ago I did remote X11 connections on HP workstations but I forgot how to do it (which command?) The X-server needs to be told to accept remote connections. See the man page on "xhost". Also, the client needs to be told where to find the X-server, which is done by setting the DISPLAY environment variable. See the man page on "X" for the display name syntax.
