You have two options: 1) Upgrade XFree86 to at least 4.3.0 and use the "nv" driver. That card wasn't supported by the "nv" driver in 4.2.0. 2) Get the binary drivers from NVIDIA's web site. Those should work with your current XFree86 version. The XFree86 project cannot provide support for third party drivers though. If you have any problems with those, you'll have to talk to NVIDIA.
