Hello list, I have a problem to set the menubar font of Xemacs at SuSE Enterprise Server 8.0 from which I assume to be an X problem. In my .Xresources and .Xdefaults I have the setting: Emacs*menubar*FontSet: -adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Calling Xemacs with these setting, Xemacs starts with a courier font in the menubar displaying the error messages: Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion Warning: Cannot convert string "-adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontSet If I use the ressource setting Emacs*menubar*font: -adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-* instead, Xemacs menubar font becomes again a menubar font, but there is no error message. However, It is possible to select the desired font with xfontsel!!. What might be the reason for this error? Kind Regards Alexander P.S. I don't have this problem with SuSE Professionel, therefore I assume, I must install something from X, but what? _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list XFree86@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
