Hi,
Sorry to jump in but I have exactly the same problem
I have posted it earlier with a complete log and subject "xserver problem"
but did not get any answer so would appreciate your help.

I have in my "Files" section:

Section "Files"
    RgbPath    "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb"
    FontPath   "unix/:7100"
EndSection

Please help!
