Heh OK I used bitmap to create the file and it's worked! I can run xsetroot from within Windowmaker and the cursor is invisible - now all I need to know is where to put the xsetroot command so it runs when startx is called!

Thanks,
Greg

Hi all,

I'm wondering how to set the cursor to 'nothing'? I've found this link: http://xfree86.linuxwiki.org/AdvancedTopicsFAQ but xsetroot doesn't change the root cursor to my emptyCursor.xbm file (I've tried xsetroot with the full path to the emptyCursor.xbm file as well)

Thanks,
