hi there! I'm a bit newbie in linux so please treat me with care:-) I have gentoo on my Toshiba Tecra S1. I've got kernel 2.6.5-mm6 and KDE 3.2 Installing KDE 3.3 didn't help at all. Here I've got Radeon m9.radeon" It took me a very long time till I finally managed to install my radeon with 3d acceleration support. I've found the description of how to do it somehere in internet. Since then however, I'm having a very annoying problem. Whenever I try to log out KDE, or reboot system, or switch to a different console (Ctrl+Alt+1,2 ans so on) my system hangs. There is nothing I can do, but turn the computer off. Can you help me solving this problem? Thanks in advance.
