I had similar problems in the computer I am using (I am working over 3000 Km from my house...)

Dell does have two BIOS updates, the A01 did have something about choosing
video cards.  I now have a choice between "Integrated" and "PCI" int the
BIOS setup, Integrated being the default, but nothing on the actual amount
of memory.

Is there anything I can do other than get used to huge windows?
