You seem to have a NVidia card.
So try to put "nv" as driver in /etc/X11/XFree86-4.
Try to use the config file generated by "XFree86 -configure".

Otherwise , maybe you can use qemu ( http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/ ).
I 've managed to run XFree86 whith he 0.6 version of qemu.

I use vmware on my machine and install Redhat 7.3 on vmware as a guest OS. The problem is i can't start XWindow. I have tried set the driver to vmware at /etc/X11/XFree86-4 in device section to "vmware". when i enter "startx" the error message appear as I attach in attachment. Please help me..
