Hi
I have a problem with tv dvd and video fullscreen with a flat panel LCD 19
SONY in DVI-D".
I use by default a resolution 1280x1024 but when I watch TV , DVD and VIDEO I
would need 1280x960 otherwise I see 1 horizontal black centimeter on top and
bottom of the screen.
I tried to add a modeline(I generated with xvidtune) in the XF86Config file
and now it looks like this (an extract)

---------------------------------------------------------------------
  Section "Monitor"
      Identifier "Monitor0"
      Option "DPMS" "true"
      HorizSync 28.0 - 64.0
      VertRefresh 60
      ModeLine "1280x1024" 108.00 1280 1328 1440 1688 1024 1025 1028
1066 +hsync +vsync #normale
      ModeLine "1280x960" 108.00 1280 1376 1488 1800 960 961 964
1000 +hsync +vsync #TVeDVD
   Section "Screen"
      Identifier "Screen0"
      Device "Card0"
      Monitor "Monitor0"
      DefaultColorDepth 24
   SubSection "Display"
         Depth 24
         Modes "1280x1024" "1280x960" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
      EndSubSection
   EndSection
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------

but my videos in fullscreen ain't changing resolution.....I can still see
those 2 horizontal black centimeters (1 at the top and 1 at the bottom)
I also tried utilities from knoppix but they can't properly(at all) probe my
monitor when in DVI-D mode

 Any Ideas?
