When I type "xinit" after a few seconds I see the message on my screen: "Fatal Error: No Screens Detected." So I do what the tips say: Sending You the log file from "/var/log/XFree86.0.log" in report.txt file. Now about my machine: I have Athlon 2500+ XP on MSI K7N2 mainboard with ATI Tech. Radeon 9600 Series 256MB and 256MB RAM memory. What should I do for my computer to work? Please help. Greetings. Micha? Siepietowski.

Following are the important lines in your logfile:

Simply said: you need to upgrade XFree86, or perhaps install the ATI binary
drivers from the ATI website. Your chipset wasn't yet supported in 4.3.0, so
X cannot find your graphics device.
