Greetings. I'm trying to troubleshoot some horrible X11 client performance when clients are run over an SSH tunnel. By "horrible performance" I basically mean painfully slow window refreshes/redraws. And, yes, this is with SSH compression enabled. And I'm aware of encryption overhead, too. :) Anyhoo, I'm looking for some sort of simple benchmark that could give me some basic stats. What kind of stats, I don't know -- just whatever might be appropriate for 2D performance measurement. Ideas? Thanks, krjw. -- Keith R.
