Matthieu, thanks.
Okay, quite simply, when you write "Put /Applications/XDarwin.app /usr/X11R6 and /etc/X11 to the trash", are you really saying Trash the XDarwin app?
Yes.
I ask because when I did a search for /usr/X11R6 and /etc/X11 (both with Find and manually in all the usual places) nothing turned up. Therefore, I attempted to remove them via termainal, and got the following:
/[blueDog:~] ******% sudo rm usr/X11R6 Password: rm: usr/X11R6: No such file or directory/
In short: How do I remove what?
sudo rm -rf /usr/X11R6 sudo rm -rf /etc/X11
Side bar: I wish I would have realized sooner that X11 in 10.3 had eliminated the need for xdarwin./Applications/Utilities/X11.app is the equivalent of XDarwin.app in Apple's X11.

When Apples X11 launches KDE in full screen mode, all the windows (apps) lock up once being opened (ie, I can launch kword, at which point all other buttons become useless).
I don't use kde on Mac OS X. So I can't help you there.
